The maple tree is beloved throughout New England for it’s wood, syrup and vibrant fall foliage.  Maple wood is characterized by a smooth grain and unique light color making each bowl a unique masterpiece of nature.  Bowls are upcycled from fallen maple trees that are in the early stages of decomposition to get remarkable spalted lines running throughout the wood.  Sizes from 10” to 18”.

Use as a salad bowl, fruit bowl or just a stand alone piece of art.  Food safe, coated with a blend of organic beeswax & food grade mineral oil. 

Material:  Spalted Maple   Origin:  Massachusetts, USA

Care: Hand wash with mild soapy water & dry immediately. Do not place in dishwasher or leave submerged in water.  Periodic application of a mineral oil will help to prevent dryness and cracking, and will enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
