The maple tree is beloved throughout New England for it’s wood, syrup and vibrant fall foliage.  Maple wood is characterized by a smooth grain and unique light color. Bowls are upcycled from fallen trees that are in the early stages of decomposition that have been infested by the Ambrosia Beetle which create the unique brown / grey markings within the wood.  Each piece is a unique masterpiece of nature.  Oval Ambrosia bowls are available in sizes from 13” to 18”. 

Use as a salad bowl, fruit bowl or just a stand alone piece of art.  Food safe, coated with a blend of organic beeswax & food grade mineral oil.

Care: Hand wash with care using warm soapy water & dry immediately. Blot with a soft clean dish towel, and allow to dry completely before putting away. Do not leave submerged in water.  Periodic application of mineral oil will help to prevent dryness and will enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
